Willow Go is the wearable breast pump designed for more comfort and output —extending moms’ breastfeeding journeys by an average of four months. Designed with a low profile and centralized pump motor (so it’s not sticking out on top), it’s one of the most discrete pumps there is.

FAQs

What makes Willow Go™ different from traditional breast pumps?

Willow Go offers the best of both worlds — built with hospital-grade suction and a comfortable tug-and-release latch (the same you’re used to if you’ve used other wearables or a traditional pump) while fitting fully in-bra. It’s proof that you don’t need to sacrifice comfort and convenience for output.

Learn more about why Willow is different from other pumps, or check out our blog post for more information on how Willow pumps differ from manual and electric breast pumps.

What are the differences between Willow® 3.0 and Willow Go?

Both pumps are fully in-bra with no bulky motors or cords, making it possible to pump on the go, and controllable via the Willow app. However, Willow Go cannot be controlled via Apple Watch, while Willow 3.0 can.

Willow Go is the perfect pump for every day with a 100% comfort rating and a tug-and-release latch designed for optimal output. Moms who use Willow Go say that they get as much, if not more milk when compared to other traditional or wearable pumps.

Unlike Willow 3.0, which offers moms 100% leak-proof mobility, Willow Go is leak-proof up to 45° — meaning you can still move around, but cannot use it while laying down or bending all the way over.

Willow 3.0 offers the option to pump into 4 oz milk bags or reusable containers, while Willow Go is only compatible with reusable containers. However, Willow Go offers a higher capacity option than Willow 3.0 — up to 7 oz per side.

Check out our comparison page for more, or take our pump quiz to decide which pump is right for you.

Is Willow Go covered by insurance?

Most moms get up to 40% (as much as $159) off their Willow 3.0 pump and accessories. Some women are able to obtain full or partial reimbursement for their Willow Pump and accessories through insurance. Use our Insurance Verifier to check your coverage and purchase your discounted pump.

As you navigate through this process, start with our guide on how to get a breast pump covered by your insurance. It gives you all the questions that you need to take to your insurance provider to understand how to obtain coverage and the costs involved.

Can I use my HSA/FSA?

Yes, you can. Simply pay for your breast pump and accessories using your FSA/HSA debit card at checkout, or pay with another credit card and submit your receipt to your plan administrator for reimbursement.

Do you offer financing?

Yes! We partner with Affirm to offer split pay and installment payment plans for Willow pumps. Learn more about our financing options.

How many ounces does Willow Go hold?

Willow Go holds up to 5 oz of milk (10 oz total). If you pump more than 5 oz per side, purchase our 7 oz containers to pump up to 14 oz per session (sold separately).

What do you mean by hospital grade suction strength?

We know every ounce matters when it comes to pumping and breastfeeding, so we engineer our pumps to optimize milk expression.

Willow Go offers maximum suction of up to -280 mmHG per side. It’s also a closed-system pump, just like hospital-grade pumps, to keep your breast milk separate from the pump mechanisms for cleanliness and hygiene.

Is it okay to share my Willow Go breast pump with other breastfeeding moms?

The Willow Go pump is a single-user device that should not be shared between moms.

Do I need a special bra for Willow Go?

No. But Willow Go works best with a pumping or nursing bra that’s snug and stretchy (no underwire!) with full coverage so just the top of the pumps peek out. Avoid bras with underwire or padding. The Daily Pumping Bra is designed specifically for Willow pumps, making it a great choice for optimal comfort and output.

What smartphones does the Willow App support?

The Willow App is available for devices that run the following operating systems:

iOS 14 and higher

Android OS 10 and higher (must support Bluetooth 5.1)

Keep in mind, due to the significant number of different Android device models, Willow® cannot guarantee optimal performance of our pumps across all devices.

How do I charge Willow Go?

The Willow Go pump kit includes two USB charging cables which can be used with any standard 5 Volt USB power source. We recommend at least 5 Volt 2 Amp adapters for fastest charging.

Does Willow Go have a warranty?

Yes! Willow Go is covered under a 12 month warranty from the purchase date. Accessories - all replaceable pump parts including but not limited to flanges, containers, diaphragms, duckbills, chargers and sizing inserts- are covered under a 90 day warranty. Please review our warranty policy.

Since breast pumps are single-user devices, use by more than one person, including purchasing second hand, will invalidate the warranty. Please keep your original proof of purchase from onewillow.com or an authorized retailer as it is required to exercise your warranty.

Can I return Willow Go?

Breast pumps and accessories are regulated as single-user products, and cannot be returned once the safety seal has been broken. See our returns policy.

• You can return an unopened Willow Pump within 60 days of the purchase date. If you decide to return your unopened pump or accessories, you must contact us to start the return process and to obtain a RMA number. Please review our return policies.

• Only products purchased from onewillow.com may be returned directly to us. For products purchased from our retail partners, please follow their instructions.• Willow pumps are single-user medical devices and returns must be new, unopened (no seals broken), unused, and in the original packaging.

Works as well as my Spectra S1

I love this pump!! Last pregnancy I had my Spectra and I got the crazy expensive Elvie. I just couldn’t get the Elvie to work for me. Yes it was smaller and quieter but if it doesn’t express the milk that doesn’t matter. It would hardly get any milk out and the pump strength was very weak. So this time I researched and found the Willow Go and it’s amazing. I picked up a Dairy Fairy bra (the Ruby is my fave) and it’s firm enough for support and works so well with the pump. The bra and more powerful pump combined means it works as well as my Spectra to empty me! I can pop in the pump on my way out the door, pump while driving even 10-15 minutes and have a full bottle of milk (more than he even drinks right now) ready to feed the baby while shopping or running errands. And I’ll be using it daily now that I’m returning to work. I still nurse at home but the Willow Go is working so well for the times I find pumping and having some milk ready useful. And will be in use daily once I’m back to work. I’m not even going past a 4-5 suction level and that’s the same level I use on my Spectra so it’s an equally powerful pump. I will say it is key to get a bra that fits firmly with the pump in place. That extra pressure is what helps the pump empty me so well. Better than the Spectra even because with that I need to apply the massage and pressure. With the Willow Go the pressure is there from the firm fit of the bra.

    Improves my ability to work

I don’t have the highest output, BUT this gives me the ability to continue working throughout the day. It’s such a relief!

Works well and is super convenient!

My only negative comment is the weight of the pumps in your bra! A good fitting bra is a must if you are going to use this pump! I do get good output with it! For moms on the go, I recommend!

Great pump, just a little clunky

I would give this 5 stars if it weren’t for a couple things:

-the pump is a bit heavy for it being hands free. You really need a snug bra on to keep these up.

-the pouring mechanism doesn’t allow you to get every drop out of your sessions. If every drop is precious to you, this probably isn’t the pump for you.

    Wanted these to be better

I bought my pump almost right after I got pregnant in late 2023, don't do that... your warranty is ticking. I was so excited for them and charged them and made sure they worked and put them away. When the time came for me to use them one absolutely would not charge for some reason. After 3 weeks of fighting with customer service I got a replacement that only holds maybe half the charge as my other AND has suction issues. I called again and they said the battery is only good for 25 mins aka ONE pump... yet my other lasts 4 whole pump cycles. Now waiting for my 3rd one. If you bend over with these pumps you will dump ALL your milk... pray your not in public when this happens... there is no way to prevent this. I'm lucky to get 2oz a pump so when this happens it's absolutely infuriating. I bought them because I own a farm and kennel and thought I could do my chores with them on.
